About Us
Our mission is to innovate, design, and build medical devices that serve unmet clinical needs.
Medical Makers aims to help members learn the prototyping process and acquire technical skills in medical device design.
We have two teams:
The Competition Team competes in BME design competitions (larger time commitment)
The General Team works with the Nursing Research Council at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab to create a device that addresses clinical needs identified by the nurses (smaller time commitment)
